What our customers say
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the workshop. I had a wonderful experience. The flow was smooth, the quality immaculate, and the vibe surreal. I probably could never have learned the process in the same way if it hadn’t been facilitated by you. Truly thankful for the amazing workshop you conducted, and I’m excited for much more!
Thank you so much for a lovely workshop! Definitely a Saturday morning well spent!
Thank you so much for the guidance. I had come for the colour reduction - but the class really helped me a lot and taught me a lot! It got me into the process of trying something new and getting my hands dirty again.
Monica is one of the kindest people I’ve met. She is very cool and will guide you through exploring the wonderful world of linocut, woodcut, and cyanotype workshops! In my first workshop, I tried to cajole her into doing a three colour linocut print, which wasn’t part of the workshop, but she very sweetly agreed! She is an excellent teacher and lets you explore the medium with utmost honesty that’s the best part! She also has wonderful friends who help her with these workshops, and they are very cool too! I’ve already done two workshops with her, and I’ve always come out feeling completely fulfilled. Another great part of attending these workshops is that you meet such interesting and inspiring people in the cohort, making it a truly wholesome experience. I love it, and I always look forward to meeting her and signing up for her workshops! I plan to keep learning from her for a long time as well.
Aaqara’s workshops are a breath of fresh air for anyone who needs a break from their screens. What I initially thought was a tough medium to crack was made much simpler thanks to Monica and Shidwala’s guidance. I was introduced to the colour reduction technique in printmaking through another workshop organised by Aaqara, and I was blown away by everyone’s creativity. I’ve had so much fun attending these sessions and look forward to learning more printmaking techniques.
Aaqara’s workshops are such a refreshing way to step away from the usual routine and spend a few hours making something with your hands. Monica and Shidwala make the process feel approachable, even when the medium seems intimidating at first. I’ve really enjoyed learning different printmaking techniques through their workshops, and every session has been a great mix of learning, experimenting, and having fun. Definitely looking forward to trying more!
I’ve attended a couple of Aaqara’s workshops and absolutely loved the experience. The sessions are thoughtfully conducted, and Monica and Shidwala do a wonderful job of guiding you without taking away the joy of figuring things out yourself. It’s a lovely break from screens and everyday routines, and there’s something really satisfying about creating a print from scratch. Can’t wait to explore more techniques with them!
Hey! I absolutely loved the workshop! Had such a great time chatting with my new friend group, and I really loved getting into that flow state while carving.
